  • Year 4 visit to The Symphony Hall

    As part of our Heath Mount Primary Guarantee, which aims to broaden our pupils’ experiences,  Year 4 visited Birmingham’s world-famous Symphony Hall to see the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in action. The music performed ranged from a compilation of well-known popular music. These school concerts are designed to inspire children to explore the world of live music.

    Today, the children and staff were very excited to take part in the NSPCC Number Day 2026. Everyone was excited to come to school dressed up ready for a maths themed day. The children enjoyed taking part in lots of fun maths activities and puzzles.

  • Houses of Parliament Visit

    The Heath Mount Pupil Parliament visit The Houses of Parliament On Thursday 29th January, the Heath Mount Pupil Parliamentarians visited the Houses of Parliament. They were up very early to travel by train to the capital city. They braved the very busy underground rail system and saw some amazing sights including Big Ben, the River Thames and the London Eye. The main part of their visit was a tour of the Houses of Parliament.

  • Year 5's Mosque visit

    Monday 12th January - As part of their RE studies about Islam, Year 5 visited Green Lane Mosque. Year 5 had the opportunity to explore this building and find out about its features and how people of a Muslim faith use this building to practise their faith. The children and staff all really enjoyed this visit and learnt a lot about Islam and mosques during this visit.

    Thursday 23 rd  October – Year 5 and Year 6 Basketball Tournament The Heath Mount Basketball Team took part in the Excelsior MAT basketball event at King Edwards School. Our team thoroughly enjoyed themselves and displayed wonderful teamwork and energy throughout the event. Well Done!
